Dutch club FC Twente have said that Fulham's bid for Bryan Ruiz was not serious enough.
The Cottagers have targeted the Costa Rican hitman with Twente confirming an offer had been made but making it clear that the Southwest London club will have to improve their proposal if they want their man.
"The offer we could not take seriously. It was too low," Munsterman is quoted as saying by De Telegraaf.
Ruiz has been in top form for Twente over the past two seasons, scoring 33 goals, whilst kicking off this campaign with two goals in three matches including one in the Champions League qualifying draw with Benfica on Tuesday.
