FC Twente midfielder Leroy Fer hopes to revive his collapsed January move to Everton.

Fer says Everton have remained in contact and he could still make the move to Goodison Park after all.

"Everton has done nothing wrong. I understand the choices that are made", he told Dutch media. "During the second half of the season, they have always kept in touch with my agent. I'm still always open for a transfer to Everton."
