FC Twente chairman Joop Munsterman has welcomed reports linking Newcastle United midfielder Cheik Tiote to Manchester United.
Tiote is a former Twente player and the Dutch club also have a partnership agreement with United. They will be due a sell-on fee should Tiote move on.
Munsterman told TC Tubantia: "I am well happy [with it]."
