Turner says Sunderland won't let season tail off

Sunderland defender Michael Turner insists they want to finish the season with a flourish.

The Black Cats have struggled in recent games.

But Turner told safc.com: "There are four games left and we want to pick up as many points as we can from those games - we don't just want the season to fizzle out.

"We were all disappointed with the result against Wolves on Saturday, but we had a good go; perhaps we didn't play as well as we know we can."
