Turner follows Freedman to Bolton

Lee Turner has joined Dougie Freedman at Bolton Wanderers.

The goalkeeping coach worked with Freedman at Crystal Palace and will now continue his Selhurst Park role at the Reebok Stadium.

During his playing days, Turner spent time Ebbsfleet and Margate before moving into coaching with Southend United where he met Freedman who was finishing his playing career.

Freedman appointed Turner when he took the reins at Palace in January 2011 and now the two reunite to help the lead the Trotters toward promotion.
