Ross Turnbull is determined to establish himself as Middlesbrough's new No1 this season.

The goalkeeper told Boro's website: "It came by surprise obviously the game against Liverpool but I've enjoyed the last two Premier League matches immensely.

"We were unlucky at Anfield and got a good three points against Stoke.

"I just want to play football, I've always said that. I'm not too good when I'm not involved so hopefully now I'll get a run in the team."
