Middlesbrough reserves coach Steve Agnew was happy with the form of goalkeeper Ross Turnbull on his comeback game from Cardiff City in their 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers.

"He made one fantastic save from a corner and his presence and communication were good," Agnew told Boro's website.

"I'm sure his experience at Cardiff will have done him the world of good. Overall he should be pleased with his performance."
