Turnbull delighted with first weeks as Chelsea player

Former Middlesbrough goalkeeper Ross Turnbull is delighted with his first weeks as a Chelsea player.

Asked about working with keeper coach Christophe Lollichon, Turnbull told chelseafc.com: "Training has been good, tough, but different again, and I am enjoying the work. So far Christophe seems fairly standard but it is early and I am sure he has something else up his sleeve.

"The lads have been telling me he can go a bit crazy, but we'll wait and see!"

Finally, it would be wrong to allow any new recruit to get away without discussing their initiation song and the ribbing that follows.

"The song wasn't too bad, the lads were fine with me," he smiled. "I went for a classic Oasis 'Wonderwall', I'm by no means the greatest of singers but I think I did okay. It's just good fun isn't it?

"It's safe to say that wasn't my favourite part of the trip though, I think that was other people singing rather than myself.

"We had a lot of good nights together and there was plenty of banter so we had a good time."
