Cakir's decision to show Nani a straight left United manager Sir Alex Ferguson furious as the Premier League giants surrendered a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 in the second-leg of their Champions League clash.

The Daily Mail says the 36-year-old has not refereed a single game without booking someone all year. He has shown an incredible 36 yellow cards and three reds in just eight club games since mid-January.
