Manchester City striker Enes Unal has revealed he knocked back the opportunity to join reigning Premier League Champions Chelsea in favour of a move to the Etihad Stadium.
Unal signed with City from Turkish outfit Bursaspor for £2million, but has since been loaned out to Belgian side Genk.
However, the 18-year-old could have just as easily found himself on the books of City's Premier League rivals Chelsea.
"One of the other teams that wanted me was Chelsea," Unal told Turkish Football Federation.
"I decided to join Manchester City because they had shown more interest and were really keen in bringing me in.
"City have been investing in their youngsters and have great projects for the future which also swayed me."
