Arda Turan has decided to leave Barcelona in January.

The Turkey international has found himself frozen out by Barca coach Ernesto Valverde this season, with no chance of a recall.

El Mundo Deportivo says Turan met with Barca GM Pep Segura on Monday where he declared he was willing to leave.

Segura had organised the meeting amid concerns Turan was planning to sit out his contract. However, the Turk's U-turn has been welcomed by management.

Segura assured Turan that Barca would do all they can to help find the right club for him in January.
