Former Manchester City director Dennis Tueart says Mark Hughes' first objective as new manager must be to lift morale at Eastlands.

Tueart said: "I think one of the main things the new manager will have [to address] is a bunch of players who must be reassured.

"Morale must be at an all-time low not only on the field but behind the scenes."
