Tuchel: Borussia Dortmund now 'emotionally stable' after bus attack

Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel says that his players are now emotionally stable following the attack on their team bus last week.

The first leg of Dortmund's quarter-final tie with Monaco was postponed by 24 hours in the wake of the sick attack which left defender Marc Bartra with a broken wrist and glass fragments in his skin.

The rescheduled game ended in a 3-2 win for Monaco at the Westfalenstadion and Dortmund players will need to be at their best in the return leg at the Stade Louis II on Wednesday if they intend to turn this tie around.

On the eve of the game in Monaco, Tuchel said: "We've got this out of our system now and we're more stable emotionally.

"All that happened last week has made us stronger. Now we have to play well and I'm convinced we can do that. We're ready and focused.

"We know it will be very tough, but we have the energy and confidence we need to get a result.

"Our players are confident. We have a good mix between experienced and young players. We know what we need to do. We are here to win by two goals."
