Troy Deeney not opposed to leaving Watford

Watford legend Troy Deeney has surprisingly claimed that he is open to leaving Vicarage Road in the future.

Deeney has been synonymous with Watford since joining the Hornets back in 2010 and the striker is considered a legend among the Hornets' faithful.

Given his fine performances in the Premier League, Deeney has been linked with a host of clubs in recent times and the 28-year-old has now admitted that he would be open to leaving Hertfordshire if the right offer happens to come along.

He said: "Leicester, West Ham, Everton. I've been linked with everyone at some point. I'm used to it now.

"I just leave it all to the club. If Watford want to keep me, then I'm happy to stay. If they want to get rid of me, then we will shake hands like men and move on."

It is believed that West Bromwich Albion are eyeing Deeney with a potential £20million bid.
