Tottenham defender Kieran Trippier has signed a five-year contract extension, according to The Sun.
The fullback challenged Kyle Walker for the right-back position at the end of last season. His impressive performances culminated in an England call-up earlier this month.
And now, Mauricio Pochettino is keen to give the former Burnley man an opportunity to establish himself as the club's number one player at his position.
The move frees up Walker to join Spurs' rival, Manchester City.
Neither Tottenham or Trippier have confirmed the deal.
