Melbourne Heart midfielder Nick Kalmar has gained selection in tribalfootball.com’s Team of the Week for the second time this season.

The 22-year old, who joined the Heart from Victorian Premier League club Oakleigh Cannons, has been ultra impressive in his four A-League matches to date and is fast becoming one of the premier midfielders in the competition.

His work on the ball, passing and vision are all key attributes and on Sunday he added goalscoring to his bag of tricks by opening his account in the 2-2 draw with league leaders Perth Glory, prompting selection in the Team of the Week following his brilliant performance in last week's 3-2 loss to Adelaide United.

Another notable selection is Brisbane Roar goalkeeper Michael Theoklitos who kept his third clean sheet in three matches against Wellington Phoenix on Friday night.

‘Theo’ is no stranger to the A-League, winning two championships as Melbourne Victory’s number one custodian, along with two A-League Goalkeeper of the Year awards.
