TRIBAL TRENDS - TRANSFERS: Man Utd prepare huge Dybala bid; Chelsea lead Pellegri race; Arsenal star Ozil set for exit to...;

With the amount of rumours swirling around at this time of year, even after the summer transfer window, it is sometimes difficult to decipher the truth.

These are matters of importance.

With all the transfer talk now directed at the January winter market, there are still enormous amounts of speculation swirling around Europe and the UK.

Not to worry however, because here at Tribalfootball, we have broken down the week's hottest transfer rumours, and inform you whether you should believe the paper talk or not.

Elye Wahi - Caen

Clubs interested: Liverpool, Tottenham, Southampton, Manchester City, Manchester United and Juventus

14-year-old Elye Wahi has been dubbed the new Kylian Mbappe.

The Caen striker has recently been added to the club's U17 team after scoring 89 goals last season.

Dubbed a 'phenomenon' by his former coach, the French teenager has drawn comparisons with the PSG superstar.

And it has clubs salivating at the prospect of developing his potential.

Liverpool, Tottenham, Southampton, Manchester City, Manchester United and Juventus are all interested in Wahi, according to Le Parisien.

There isn't any footage of the youngster, so it is hard to get a gauge on how valid the hype really is.

Likelihood: Keep an eye out

Pietro Pellegri- Genoa

Clubs interested: Manchester United, Chelsea, Juventus, AC Milan

Pietro Pellegri is another starlet garnering attention.

Fortunately, we know a lot more about the Genoa teenager than Wahi.

In only his second start for Genoa against Lazio two weeks ago, Pellegri scored twice in the Rossoblu's 3-2 loss.

The whizkid has started for Ivan Juric's side ever since. And it would be in Genoa's best interest to do so because the biggest clubs in the world will be watching every step Pellegri takes.

Chelsea and Manchester United have both been linked, while Italian clubs Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan are trying to keep the Italian at home.

Pellegri is said to be keen on a move to England, but given Chelsea having Antonio Conte and Paolo Vanoli at the club, Pellegri may find it easier to assimilate in London.

In saying that, the Blues don't have the best record of bringing through young players and if Pellegri has desire to continue playing first-team football, then Chelsea is not the club for him.

Likelihood: Not now

Mesut Ozil - Arsenal

Clubs interested: Manchester United

The Mirrorreports that Mesut Ozil is desperate to join Manchester United.

The Germany international is out of contract with Arsenal at the end of the season and will have the option to sign with whoever he pleases.

Jose Mourinho is said to be keen on reuniting with Ozil, who he managed at Real Madrid.

Ozil's advisors have put the word out to United and the feedback has been positive.

There was barely any speculation surrounding Ozil during the summer, well not in comparison to Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

He will be 29 when his contract runs out and if United are keen, Ozil will definitely take the option.

Likelihood: Looks good

Paulo Dybala- Juventus

Clubs interested: Manchester United, Barcelona

Manchester United have joined the race for Paulo Dybala.

The diminutive attacker has become arguably Juventus' most important player over the past season.

Dybala has scored 10 goals in six Serie A matches already!

His enormous talent, and the fact that he is only 23, has teams ready to break the bank to sign him.

The Mirror reports that United are readying a bid of £155m for the Argentine.

Barcelona are desperate to sign Dybala as Lionel Messi's heir apparent.

Expect both of these clubs to go head to head and the transfer fee to be reaching Neymar heights.

Likelihood: Could happen

Charly Musonda - Chelsea

Clubs interested:Arsenal, Manchester United and Celtic

Chelsea are desperate to extend Charly Musonda's contract.

According to the London Evening Standard, a number of clubs including Manchester United, Arsenal and Celtic are circling around the young Belgian.

The 20-year-old has a contract until 2019, but he is said to be keeping an eye on his playing time this term under Antonio Conte.

He scored his debut goal last week against Nottingham Forest and with Chelsea's low squad numbers, it is likely he will continue to feature in the domestic cups.

However, if his playing time dwindles before January, expect Musonda's agent to sound out clubs for a move.
