TRIBAL TRENDS - TOP 5: Man Utd regret Alexis signing; Coutinho cracks it at Klopp; Perez selling TEN Real Madrid players;

Here we are again. Letting you know what were the most popular articles on Tribal over the past seven days.

All the big clubs and storylines are mentioned. So let's go.

Poor Philippe Coutinho. The Barcelona playmaker's ego has reportedly been bruised by comments made by his former manager.

Apparently Jurgen Klopp's insistence that Liverpool are perfectly fine without their former talisman has hurt the Brazilian's feelings.

Liverpool have only lost once in ten games since Coutinho was sold to the Catalan giants for £142million in January.

No wonder Reds fans lapped this story up…

A rather startling story regarding the mother of Arsenal youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles emerged this week.

Maitland-Niles' mother, Jule Niles, revealed to The Sun that she was homeless and living in a 10ft square metal storage box.

20-year-old Maitland-Niles, who has featured sporadically for the first-team this season, reportedly lives in a £700,000 apartment with his brother.

A source close to Maitland-Niles claims he continues to support his mother. But the man himself has yet to speak publicly of the matter.

El Pais has made the stunning claim that Manchester United executives regret signing Alexis Sanchez in January.

The Chilean famously arrived at Old Trafford in a swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan. But with only one goal in seven appearances, the gloss has started to rub off on Sanchez and his humongous pay-package.

The Alexis signing has frustrated United directors for three reasons: The fact they could've waited to sign Sanchez for free in the summer (yeah no kidding!), his £500,000-a-week wages and his age of 29.

Tribal'sLiverpool fans swarmed to read Lucas Leiva's recent comments on his former club.

The Brazilian left Anfield for Lazio in the summer after spending ten years with the club.

But he hasn't forgotten his old supporters, and he took some time out to express his gratitude for the club who signed him from Gremio as a 20-year-old.

An absolute doozy squeezed into the top five stories this week.

Diario Gol, always providing us with the juiciest of Spanish rumours, reported last week that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is preparing to sell TEN players this summer.

Los Blancos have floundered domestically this season. They currently sit 15 points behind Barcelona and have been knocked out of Copa del Rey.

Perez feels as though a major cull is needed for Zinedine Zidane's squad, which includes big names such as Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema.

This leaves one question. If Perez is selling all these players, then just who is going to bring in? Haza...
