Stoke City U21 coach Dave Kevan was impressed by two mystery trialists in their thrashing by Newcastle United.

Kevan fielded two trialists in attack on the night.

"I thought they both worked very hard and on another night, with a little bit more service, they could have shown what they could do in terms taking chances and creating chances, but it didn't happen," he told the Stoke website.
