Liverpool academy have Demitrius Lawrence trialling with them.

Lawrence actually scored in a 4-1 victory over Cardiff academy yesterday, along with German starlet Marvin Pouriez (2) and Michael Collins.

Coach Hughie McAuley told Liverpoolfc.tv: "It was a very good performance from the boys and we could have scored a lot more than the four we got, but the Carlisle goalkeeper was excellent.

"Marvin took his goals very well and we were able to give all of the squad a game which was the most important thing.

"David Amoo did very well and he was desperately unlucky not to score on the day."
