David Trezeguet was delighted to match Omar Sivori's scoring record for Juventus.
The Frenchman's strike in victory over Atalanta was his 167th goal, which allowed him to become the joint top foreign marksman in the club's history.
"I am so happy," he told Sky Italia television. "I have reached a very important personal goal and I never thought I'd match Sivori's record when I first came to Juventus.
"The most important thing about this night is that we played a great game, proved we have rediscovered our hunger and that this team is tough.
"We are happy and tired, but at the end of the day managed to win a crucial match."
