Al-Ahly attacking midfielder Mahmoud Hassan suggests Celtic will put in a bid for him this week.
The 19-year old Egyptian, also known as Trezeguet, is determined to leave his homeland in order to join the Glasgow giants and he expects a deal to be sorted soon.
"I've stated I want to sign for Celtic. And I have been told that Celtic's official offer to the club will arrive this week," he told the Daily Record.
"All players dream of playing at a higher level and I won't give up on my dream.
"Especially since everybody knows the name and popularity of a club like Celtic who have been successful at European level."
