David Trezeguet has dismissed talk he may leave Juventus this summer.

Trezeguet has been linked with Barcelona, but he says: "I extended my contract until 2011 and I want to conclude my career wearing this shirt.

"The club seemed to have made its choices and I wasn't part of the project.

"Barca arrived and I came to an agreement with them immediately because they are one of the strongest teams in the world.

"Then Fabio Capello called me and asked why I wanted to leave. I explained and he asked me to stay because he had faith in me.

"Within five minutes I came to an agreement. To be able to work with him was a very good experience because, like Marcello Lippi, he is a Coach who has won everything.

"The rest is history - I think that Juve side of the next few seasons was the strongest of the last 15 years."
