AS Trencin chief Robert Rybnicek has revealed they've beaten Chelsea to the signing of Jamaican youngster Leon Bailey.

Bailey, who has come through the system at the Phoenix All Stars, was a target for Chelsea and Ajax.

But Rybnicek said: "Bailey was emphatically followed by notably Ajax and Chelsea, both of which offered him a contract.

"This interest confirms his talent.

"We believe that he will continue to grow at AS Trenin."
