Cameroon ace Samuel Eto'o admits he loved his first season at Inter Milan.

The former Barcelona striker finished the campaign with three trophies.

Eto'o said: “I myself was surprised. June and July were difficult for me. I didn't understand much of what was happening.

“But, you know, football is so complicated that, sometimes, you mustn't try and understand it.

“The important thing is that I found another family in which I rapidly felt at ease. In the end, God wanted that my team and I won all the titles.

“Every victory is beautiful. Last year in Barcelona I had the chance to be part of an exceptional group. I left and found another exceptional group.

“This winter, I had a problem for two months on account of a blow I took to my left foot during the African Cup of Nations. But in the end, everything paid off. It was the fruit of the group's work. I am happy that I had to suffer to get there.”
