Republic of Ireland coach Giovanni Trapattoni says Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson is in his Euro plans.

Gibson has been urged by Trapattoni to seek a new club if he wants a place in his Ireland team.

"I can't say too much because [Sir Alex] Ferguson can say 'Giovanni, mind your own business'. Is he in my plans? Yes, sure. Gibson has fantastic potential. He has a great vision and shoots very well."
