Trapattoni can't split Juventus and AC Milan

Former Italy coach Giovanni Trapattoni can't split Juventus and AC Milan.

The Rossoneri travel to Turin to take on the champions this weekend.

“They are two teams with important technical values, who are close together in the table," Trapattoni pointed out in an interview with TuttoJuve.

“It's not for nothing that this is defined as a Clasico of Italian football. With all that's going on in the world, let's hope those fears don't affect the players on the pitch.

“Although there are clearly differences between the two sides in regard to the players and their qualities, the match is open to any kind of result.

“Both teams show their qualities, they play a very modern and attacking game. In my opinion it will be very balanced, there will be plenty of stretched play across the 90 minutes.

“Juve have shown an inherent sense of initiative, which characterises them, while [Milan Coach Sinisa] Mihajlovic has shown that he's not afraid of anyone.

“It will come down to the formation, the condition of the players - Juve have a few more injured - and decisive passages of play to decide the game.

“On a tactical level they know each other well, attacking football is their doctrine.

“I'm hoping for a spectacular game, because both are capable of putting on a show."
