Traore thrilled to make most of pre-season chance with Chelsea

Chelsea youngster Bertrand Traore is thrilled with his performances during the club's pre-season.

The 20-year-old striker scored two goals, including one in Wednesday night's 3-1 win over AC Milan, during the pre-season with his first coming in in Austria in a win against WAC RZ Pellets.

Traore was speaking of his finish in the victory over Milan in Minneapolis when he touched on the opportunity he has been given so far this summer.

"I always have my eyes for the goal so when I saw Victor (Moses) aim to shoot, I anticipated the situation," Traore told Chelseafc.com.

"Then the goalkeeper touched it and I was in the right place at the right moment. It is important when you play as a striker to look for the goal. These are the most easy goals you can score as a striker – keep on running, go for the second balls - so I was happy to score the goal.

"The pre-season has been good so far. I have been playing almost every game and that is important for me to prepare well and get my fitness level high. I work hard in training to get some minutes during the games and I have got these minutes, so I am happy with this situation."
