QPR fullback Armand Traore hopes Loic Remy chooses to stay.
Remy looked all set for a £10.5 million switch to Liverpool, but the plug was pulled at the last minute amid reports that the 27-year-old failed a medical.
Traore told the Fulham Chronicle: "To be honest, I was gutted for him, but at the same time I was buzzing as he's a quality striker and a good guy who will always get you goals, and we could have a good chance this season.
"We have brought in two very good centre backs in Steve Caulker and Rio Ferdinand, and the squad is getting stronger and stronger every day. We just need a few more additions."
