Despite being on the transfer list, Nathan Ellington insists he is happy to remain at Watford. The 28-year-old had an unsuccessful trial at Blackburn Rovers during the summer.
The striker insists he is happy to be part of manager Malky Mackay's plans and wants to repay the fans, having scored just four times since signing for £3.25million in 2007.
"I've done well pre-season, and now the manager is happy with me, so I'm very happy to be here," he told BBC Three Counties Radio.
"The fans are starting to see a little bit of me, and starting to turn around their thoughts, maybe.
"The first season I had wasn't too good and I want to repay that."
