Tranmere Rovers youngster Danny Holmes is being tracked by Liverpool.

The left-back has rejoined Tranmere from Welsh Premier League side The New Saints on a one-year deal.

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish is having Holmes watched and could snap him up on a pre-contract in January.

Dalglish looks to be planning for the future with a core of young English players and has been alerted to Holmes' potential.
