Tranmere boss Les Parry admits he would like to offer David Raven a contract with the League One outfit. The 26 year old former Liverpool, Carlisle and Shrewsbury defender has been training with Rovers this summer while he looks for a new club.
Parry said: "David is still looking for a club. To be honest with the little niggles we've had to several players, we would have struggled without him over the last few weeks.
"I have asked David to keep us informed if another club comes in for him.
"I would like to keep David here but we know he is a decent player who can attract a good wage. But while he is here there is a chance we will be able to keep him."
