Tranmere Rovers boss Ronnie Moore says James Wallace is Premier League class.
The young midfielder joined Tranmere in a permanent deal from Everton at the start of the season.
"He's a good player, he leads by example and he's a good talker," Moore said of his captain.
"You don't usually get 20-year-old who want to speak, they keep themselves very quite. But he's a mouthy Scouser if you like - he's in the dressing room.
"He will definitely go back to where he's come from, that Premier League level. All he needs is games really. He could have stayed at Everton but decided to cut the ties and make a living for himself properly in league football."
