Porto face late competition to sign Newcastle United defender Chancel Mbemba.
Porto have agreed personal terms with Mbemba and are haggling with Newcastle over a fee for the stopper.
However, O Jogo says Trabzonspor have now come forward with a counter proposal for Newcastle.
A fee in the region of €8-10m is still being negotiated over a fee for Mbemba, who was in Portugal last weekend for his medical.
