According to reports from Fotomac, Turkish side Trabzonspor have launched an official bid to sign Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva.

Lucas has been a great servant for Liverpool over the past decade but his involvement for the first-team has reduced significantly over the last few seasons.

And it is now widely expected that the Brazilian midfielder will be leaving Anfield this summer.

Trabzonspor have long been interested in signing Lucas and if reports emerging out of Turkey are to be believed, the Turkish side have established contacts with Liverpool over the potential signing of the 30-year-old for a fee of around £5m.
