Trabzonspor midfielder Didier Zokora admits he turned down Manchester United and Real Madrid during his career.

Zokora revealed to France Football he rejected United, Real and Chelsea while at St Etienne in order to sign for Tottenham in 2006.

He chose Spurs due to the influence of Liverpool football chief Damien Comolli, who was in charge of football matters at White Hart Lane at the time.
