Andros Townsend has no problem with Tottenham splashing out this summer.
The winger accepts the increased competition.
"I think whoever is here come September 3, it is going to be difficult for me. Aaron Lennon is a world class player, there is Nacer Chadli, Gylfi Sigurdsson. There is competition.
"But it is an exciting time to be here. You have seen we have made fantastic signings already - Roberto Soldado, Etienne Capoue, Chadli - we have made great signings.
"Even if the transfers stop, we have still got a great squad going into the season. The main thing is that we create chances and we put away chances.
"I think it is a good sign and we have already got some momentum going into the season. We scored five goals against Dinamo - we know we can do that now.
"Now we are going to take that confidence into Sunday's game against Swansea."
