Andros Townsend insists there's no need for negativity after Crystal Palace's defeat at Newcastle.

Townsend insists there are positives for the Eagles, despite the defeat.

"We had a fantastic result last weekend and then in this game came away from home against a good side that are set up really well, but we almost got a point out of this one.

"We now have to dust ourselves down and move on.

"We are moving in the right direction and unfortunately today wasn't our day."
