Tottenham winger Andros Townsend made a successful playing return with the U21s yesterday.

Townsend marked his return from a hamstring injury with a goal in the Under-21s 4-1 win over Newcastle United.

The 22-year-old has been sidelined since before Christmas, but made an impressive impact at Bishop's Stortford on Tuesday afternoon in a match which had been postponed from Monday evening because of a waterlogged pitch.
