Tottenham winger Andros Townsend wants Roberto Soldado's inevitable scoring run to kickstart following Thursday night's hat-trick.
The Spaniard netted a treble in the 4-1 Europa League win over Anzhi Makhachkala - his first goals since late October - and Townsend is hoping for more of the same now he has broken his drought.
"Everyone is delighted for him. He's not scored as many as he would have liked but hopefully he will go on a run now and show what a quality striker he is," he told ITV4.
Along with Soldado's three goals, Tottenham extended their winning streak to three and their unbeaten run to five matches in all competitions and Townsend also wants that to continue.
"It's important to keep the winning streak going," he added.
"It was important for everyone who played and that we scored four goals. We need to keep the confidence up as we have a big game against Liverpool at the weekend as we try and get in the Champions League."
