Tottenham winger Andros Townsend is delighted with his recent run of games.

Townsend is convinced he has a role to play over the remainder of the campaign.

"I've had to wait quite a long time this season to get the breakthrough in the Premier League, but now I've started back-to-back games," Townsend told the London Evening Standard. "If I get a chance at Crystal Palace on Saturday I want to impress again.

"More regular starts are the aim. The way I play, I need games to get back to my best. I've had two on the spin now in the league and I'm looking for another on Saturday.

"I'm feeling good and feeling sharp. I won't compare myself to how I was playing last season but I know what I can do."
