Manchester City captain Kolo Toure admits he's reluctant to leave Eastlands with the team now flying under new manager Roberto Mancini.
City have beaten Stoke 2-0 and Wolves 3-0 since Mancini arrived but Toure must now go to play for the Ivory Coast in Angola.
Toure said: "It is bad timing because we have just had two good results. Perhaps the competition can be staged another time in future.
"We have been working very hard on the tactics at City and I think we are doing well.
"This is the second clean sheet and we hope that we keep going on like that. We our glad with the latest three points.
"It was a really tough game at Wolves and we played really well.
"We know we can scored goals and will get results as long as we defend together."
