Toure: Man City have thrown away silly points

Yaya Toure admits Manchester City have thrown away "silly points" as their title bid falters.

City could be eight points behind Manchester United by the time they kickoff their clash with Arsenal tonight.

Toure told the Sun on Sunday: "The title is getting difficult although it's not lost and we are going to fight until the bitter end.

"But if we don't take three points, the situation will be almost impossible. We have thrown away points in a silly way and that has killed us.

"But if we want to go on and become a great team, we have to learn from this difficult experience. We have to deal better with pressure and expectations than we have done.

"People talk about City becoming Europe's best team and, in time, that is possible.

"But, first, we must become the best team in England before we can even start to think about such success."
