Yaya Toure will be handed a bonus of £720,000 when Manchester City confirm their place in the Champions League for next season.

City assured at least a play-off in Europe's premier club competition by defeating QPR 6-0 on Sunday and now just need to beat Swansea City this weekend to ensure they will finish in the top three.

Toure, who turns 32 on Wednesday, had the bonus written in to his contract when he joined the club from Barcelona in 2010.

Despite the wonderful wages Toure is on at the Etihad Stadium - £220,000-a-week to be precise - the Ivory Coast midfielder is preparing to leave the club at the end of the season with Inter Milan are possible destination.
