Kolo Toure has denied claims that he said he was being mistreated at Manchester City.
The Ivory Coast international reportedly said he was not being selected for 'non-footballing reasons' as he gets set to play for his country at the 2012 African Cup of Nations in January but his adviser Saif Rubie says he never said those words in an interview in France.
"Kolo is very upset about the reports that have come out in the French press," said Rubie.
"Kolo believes his comments have been misinterpreted.
"Kolo's commitment to Manchester City has never been in question and that has been proven in his performances on the pitch.
"Kolo is looking forward to the rest of the season and is ready when called upon to help City in the pursuit of trophies."
