Yaya Toure is constantly looking to improve himself as a player according to Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini.
The Ivory Coast midfielder scored his fifth goal of the campaign in Tuesday night's 5-0 Capital One Cup victory over Wigan Athletic - his third from a free-kick so far - and his efforts did not go unnoticed by his manager.
"He is an excellent player and if he adds goals from free-kicks - last Sunday he scored again - he is a player who can always improve more and Yaya is trying to do it," said Pellegrini.
Toure came off the bench to score from a dead ball situation in the 76th minute as City ran riot at Etihad Stadium.
