Toure adamant Man City will not be defensive at Man Utd

Yaya Toure is adamant Manchester City won't play for a point at Manchester United today.

Roberto Mancini has used him as both a holding and attacking midfielder.

And after scoring the two goals that made history last season, the 28-year-old knows which one he prefers.

"I joined City because I was told it was a story just waiting to be written and that goal against United was the start," said Toure. "But to beat them this time, away from home, will be very difficult for us.

"United are very strong at Old Trafford and we will need to go there and play with every single drop of our determination.

"I don't think this game will end as a draw. United will be desperate to win and go top for their fans, while we always go into games to win. It will be a big day in Manchester but we will go there with a belief we can win.

"United have been the bigger story in Manchester because they have been a top club for a long time.

"For us it is still the beginning, but this is our chance to take a big step forward."
