Toulouse are determined to keep hold of centre-forward Andre-Pierre Gignac.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger sees Gignac as the ideal replacement for Emmanuel Adebayor, now of Manchester City, and had him watched last Friday against Bordeaux.

The Daily Mail says Toulouse president Olivier Sadran insists that Gignac, who has been interesting Lyon and Arsenal, will stay at the club.
