Newcastle United are reviving their interest in Toulouse defender Cheikh M'Bengue.

The Magpies have already had one offer for M'Bengue turned down since the end of last season.

It was mooted Newcastle would turn elsewhere and they have already tabled a bid for Swansea City defender Neil Taylor.

However, French sources say Toulouse expect Newcastle to try again for M'Bengue in the coming days with Jose Enrique set to be sold.
