Roma captain Francesco Totti thanked the fans that turned up to the airport to celebrate second place.

Over 1,500 supporters welcomed Roma's players back from their victory at Chievo Verona.

Totti said: "This is the time to thank our supporters yet again, because we can never thank them enough.

"The emotions of this campaign are to be dedicated entirely to them. These are very special fans. More than that, they are unique.

"They are the true beating heart of Roma. They are Roma. Thank you."
